Find your area
Answer a few questions about how you want to live, and see which parts of the Costa del Sol fit — and which do not.
It takes about five minutes. At the end you receive a written summary of the areas that match your answers, with the reasoning behind each one.
What a questionnaire cannot tell you
A result can point you towards the right towns. It cannot show you how a street feels in winter, how steep the access is, whether the road is noisy or how long the school run really takes.
These details can make the difference between an area that sounds right and one that works for you. That is where a conversation helps.
Which area of the Costa del Sol is best?
There isn’t one. Each area has its advantages and compromises, and the right choice depends on how you want to live. A hillside home may offer views and quiet but need a car for every task. A central apartment may be walkable but busier in summer.
Where can I live without a car?
Fuengirola, parts of Málaga, central Marbella, central San Pedro, central Estepona and certain beachside neighbourhoods let you manage much of daily life on foot. In most other areas, a car is usually essential.
Which areas are quieter?
Benahavís, Manilva and Casares Costa, and many hillside and golf communities offer more space and peace. The compromise is often greater car dependence and longer journeys to schools, beaches and the airport.
Which areas suit families?
It depends on schools, daily travel times and year-round services. Marbella has one of the highest concentrations of international schools on the coast. Wherever you look, make the school part of the location decision from the beginning.
